Potenza

Potenza has 69.060 inhabitants and is located in the Apennines mountains, south of Italy. It is the highest regional capital of Italy and has a service-based/rural economy. In the region there are the major oil fields of Italy. Like the south of Italy, it risks desertification due to less precipitations and is adopting policies to reduce traffic congestion and mobility problems.
